Real-Time Dracula

Bram Stoker's Dracula, as it was never meant to be read.

Ármin Vámbéry
You may have noticed a new "character" in the mix lately: @AVambery.  This is my fictionalized version of the real Hungarian scholar. Since Van Helsing refers to "my friend Arminius of Buda-Pest University" as his source for information on Dracula, I thought having Vámbéry as a character would be a good way to introduce more exposition into the story, especially in areas not covered by Stoker.

To head off some questions:

The real Vámbéry may or may not have given Stoker information about Transylvania, Dracula, or vampires. I'm not putting forward any theories on that.

The real Vámbéry, as far as I know, had no encounters with vampires or the supernatural. He did however have quite an adventurous life.

No, I'm not going to tell you what I mean by "areas not covered by Stoker". Wait and see.
